How I run this site, do credit, and all that jazz:
--icons found under "icons i did not make" ... obviously I did not make them. I'm trying something new for crediting- click this link and it will take you to my credits site, which will list the sites I got icons/pics from for my most recent entry only. If this doesn't work out well I'll probably end up putting up a credits module instead. If you MADE any of the icons I posted, I'll put up an extra link to your site on the entry itself. If you see an icon you made under this category and don't believe you were given sufficient credit for it, just let me know (nicely, please) and i'll take care of it :)
-- i do not own any of the pictures that i made icons from, so i don't claim those icons as my own. so, feel free to take 'em- no credit necessary. all the pictures I found on xanga- if you see an icon that was made from one of your photos and you dont like the fact, let me know and i'll take it down. no problem.
-- comments and subscriptions have never been, and will never be, demanded at this site. I do this because I enjoy it- although comments and subs don't ever hurt *wink wink* ::nudge nudge::
-- I am taking requests! just let me know what you'd like and I will usually find 10-20 icons for you.

sorry for the super super late update >___< College started up for me again on Wednesday, so of course the few couple of days beforehand were dedicated to hanging out with friends and partying and such :) especially with my new roommate, a girl I've known since 6th grade who just got back from studying in Japan for a year. My first day of classes sucked horrendously, though. The night before I found out that my 10 am psych class was moved to 8 freaking AM. I don't do 8 am. so then, I wake up early to go to this class- TURNS OUT, class was canceled but nobody knew because the professor didn't email ANYONE. baaahhh. So, I'm running on not nearly enough sleep, am super tired all day, I head out to my car, and... it didn't start. fffuuuccckkk me, I got a dead battery. YAY! luckily, got all that straightened out. Today (thursday) I don't have class till 12 30 pm. hurray, right? ehhhh yay for sleep, not yay for the fact that with the new parking rules on campus, there are NO day student spots left by 10 AM. So, I park in the furthest possible lot from my class, and somehow make it there in 10 minutes, sweating all over the place.
Ah well, but there have been plenty of good things! + went to a pretty cool concert + went shopping with my mom + met up with a bunch of awesome friends + my roommate and I mesh really well, which is fantastic + my classes seem awesome so far, I'm especially excited for self defense :) + research is going to well + my car is not broken! yay! + my 21st birthday is coming up soon + MY BROTHER GOT A PUPPY!!!!!!!!!!!
ahhhh I'm so jealous! He's a german shepherd mix, about 9 weeks old, and his name is Sounder :)
So that's what's been happening lately, in a crazy little ranting nutshell, haha. Hope everyone else is doing just as well!
Since college has started up again, I'm afraid entries are going to be few and far between, and they might also get a lot smaller. I do not plan to go on another unannounced year-long hiatus, so no worries about that!

wooooow, I'm up a lot later tonight then I intended O_O ahhhhh! So anyways, quick update on my life- + DONE WITH SUMMER RESEARCH! woohooo :) - ... but have to take the GREs in a couple of weeks (for grad school admissions, both the general test and chemistry subject test) - These tests will cost me at least 280 dollars + Going to an amusement park with the best friend on wednesday! + Boyfriend's coming back to town soon! + Beach next week! - School starting soon... +/- It'll be my senior year! +/- and I'm doing chem honor's research during.
So yeah, I'd say the pluses outweigh the minuses :) Hope it's the same for you!

how've you all been? sorry I've been a little out of the xanga loop. Life's been bus,y but good ^^ Next week is my last week of research for the summer! I can't believe it's already been 9 weeks since I've started, the summer's been going by pretty fast. Speaking of which, I've got a lot of stuff to do before summer ends, including a beach trip and studying for the GRE along with other graduate school stuffs @___@. So, just warning everyone that I will have to go on hiatus pretty soon again :( So if you've got any requests, make them now!
